Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Craftscale collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to craftscale.studio and to any inquiry you send us through the site or by email.

The personal data we collect is limited to what you give us and what is necessary to run the site. If you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, company where provided, and the content of your message. If you email us directly we receive whatever your message contains. We also collect anonymous technical and performance measurements, such as page load timings and aggregate visit counts, which are not used to identify individuals.

We use this data for a small set of purposes: replying to your inquiry and having the conversation that follows, keeping records of business communications, maintaining the security and performance of the website, and complying with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not use it to build marketing profiles.

Our legal bases under the GDPR are legitimate interest for responding to business inquiries and keeping the site secure, consent for any non-essential cookies or analytics where consent is requested, and legal obligation where retention is required by law. Where processing rests on consent you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

We keep inquiry data only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for. Messages that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within a reasonable period, typically no longer than twenty-four months. Data is stored on infrastructure inside the European Union or with providers offering equivalent safeguards, and access is restricted to the people who need it. We use a small number of processors for hosting, database, email and analytics, each bound by a data processing agreement.

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data deleted, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a concern about how we handle your data, contact hello@craftscale.studio and we will respond within the statutory timeframe. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. If this policy changes we will update this page and revise the date shown on it.
