Selected work

A look at products we have designed, engineered and scaled alongside founding teams. Each case study covers the situation the team was in when they came to us, the problem underneath the brief, the decisions we made together, what actually shipped, and what changed for the business afterwards. We write them the way we would want to read them: specific about trade-offs, honest about what did not work first time.

Our portfolio spans AI tooling, marketplaces, fintech and internal platforms. Slingshot, Capfora and Olloo are the named ones. Several others are stealth-stage companies whose products we cannot describe publicly yet, though we are happy to walk through the relevant parts of that work in a conversation under NDA if it maps to what you are building.

The engagements themselves fall into three broad shapes. Zero-to-one builds, where there is a thesis and a founder and very little else, and the job is to get a credible product into real users' hands fast enough to learn something before the runway moves. Scale-and-modernise work, where a product already has customers but the architecture, the design system or the team structure is now the bottleneck. And AI-native builds, where intelligence is the product rather than a feature, and the hard part is evaluation, data and trust rather than the model call itself.

What the case studies have in common is the working model. A small senior team embedded with the founders. Weekly shipping instead of milestone theatre. Design, engineering and applied AI on one team with no handoffs. Architecture decisions deferred until real usage justifies them. And a bias toward removing scope rather than adding it, because the fastest way to ship a good product is to build less of the wrong thing.

If one of these projects resembles the problem in front of you, get in touch and we will talk through how it went in detail, including the parts that were messy. We would rather have a specific conversation about your product than send a deck.
